Umicore Chang Xin Project held a groundbreaking ceremony in Jiangmen High-tech Zone at 10:30 on December 18, 2017. Mr. Wu Yuguang, the deputy director of Guangdong Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology Committee, Mr. Liu Yi, the Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party committee of Jiangmen and the Mayor of Jiangmen, Mr. Marc Grynberg, the CEO of Umicore Group, Mr. Geoffrey Eekhout, the Consul of Belgian Consulate General in Guangzhou, Mr. Liang Xuzan and Mr. Cai Dewei, the deputy Mayors of Jiangmen City, Mr. Tian Ji Ping, chairman of Changyou Industrial Co., Ltd., Mr. Feng Chu Xian, SVP of Umicore Greater China, and other leaders and honored guests attended the ceremony.
Mr. Marc Grynberg, Ms. Tang Huihong, the Executive Deputy Director of Jiangmen High-tech Zone Management Committee and Chief of Jianghai District, Mr. Cai Dewei, and Mr. Wu Yuguang, delivered speeches at the ceremony.

This project is not only a key project in Jiangmen City, but the completion of this project will play a decisive role in the development of the new energy automotive industry.
