AAK Group is headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, which is Europe's largest and most professional area which is specialized in producing vegetable oils,  other food ingredients and a lot of food additives manufacturers operates there. The production of special oil accounted for 50% of the European market. Listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, with sales of about € 2 billion in 2014. Its history can be traced back to the 1878 Ausus company, the industry domain covers the food raw materials, candy chocolate fat, personal care products with oil, technical products and feed and other fields. The project is the group's first production base in China.

        Contract signing ceremony was held in AAK Shanghai headquarters on May 13, 2015, for the AAK Zhangjiagang Ltd.’s oil processing EPCm project which will have an annual output of 150,000 tons of special vegetable oil. Mr. Yuan Bin, General Manager of LBT, signed the contract on behalf of both companies. Signing ceremony was also attended by Director of Purchasing Mr. Christian Andersen, , AAK Group, Project Director Mr. Roger Sigvant, Factory Director Mr. Palle Jensen, Purchasing Manager Zhu Yan, AAK Project Team Member Wang Zhongchang, Gao Changsheng, Hu Qianjie, Shi Penghua, Deputy General Manager of LBT, Project Manager Ye Honghe Hou Qiuhui.
