On the morning of July 25, 2016, YAMAL LNG FWP2 project of LBT held a celebration for reaching a total of five-million of safety hours. Olivier MENDO-YAMAL LNG’s site manager, Francois Dordain- YAMGAZ’s project director, Shadi Mansour-YAMGAZ’s deputy site manager, Jean-Louis Chauvet-YAMGAZ’s safety manager and LBT’s management staff and workers for YAMAL LNG FWP2 project were present in the celebration activity.
YAMAL LNG and YAMGAZ congratulated the project on obtaining five-million safe hours, and at the same time raised requirements for next HSE work of the project. At present, the project is in the final stage and there is more work to do with HSE management, especially for relatively frequent high-risk operations recently, such as tube bundle hoisting and shipment. The project team must keep high alert and pay sufficient attention to the HSE work until the project is successfully completed.
Since August 2015, with the strong support and concern from the leaders of all levels of the Group Company and LBT Holdings, the project team has orderly achieved challenging milestones and high-level safety and quality objectives. The project management team pays close attention to safety education, strict responsibility implementation and standardized process control. In February 2016, the cumulative safety hours reached two million; in July 2016, five million of safety working hours were successfully achieved.
In addition, due to the continuous hot weather in Zhangjiagang, the project management team took a number of effective measures simultaneously to ensure the personnel and production safety and arrangement of production tasks in a reasonable, orderly and tense way. All the staff will always adhere to the concept of "HSE always predominates ", to ensure that the project will be satisfactorily completed and contribute to the strategic development of the group company.
