Introduction

Trinseo, an independent company formed in 2010, was created by combining the technologies and capabilities of four businesses of The Dow Chemical Company.
Trinseo is a global chemical materials solutions provider and a manufacturer of plastics, latex binders, and synthetic rubber. Trinseo owns two business divisions: Performance Materials (Latex Binders, Synthetic Rubber, and Performance Plastics) and Basic Plastic & Feedstocks, with 15 manufacturing sites and 10 research and development facilities globally, nearly 2200 employees. The revenue in 2016 is 3.7 billion.
